I think I'm handling it all very well, actually. You just can't hold onto people. You need to let them go. Besides, I don't really think that Winnipeg is MY final destination either. I don't think I"ll live here till I'm 101. Perhaps I'll be here for another 5, 10, 20 years....but then what? So when it's time for us to move on....will our friends let us go with blessing instead of grumbling? My goal is to do that for the friends of mine who are leaving. It sucks big-time, however we have to trust that God is bigger than change. So uncurl from your fetal position, folks. We'll get through it.
