knit knit purl

Today I bought my very first pair of knitting needles. (8mm for those who care) I also bought a ball of that "fun fur" stuff, and I plan to make a furry scarf for Anneka. Easy enough, hey? I was taught how to knit as a kid, but now...I can't remember for the life of me how to "cast on" (i think it's called)

So I'm off to GOOGLE it, and start my knitting adventure. After all....how hard could it be?
