had was way worse than I thought it would be.I've had a wisdom tooth 'pulled' before, but this 'surgery' was way different. My advice? GET PUT UNDER! Then again, I wouldn't want to feel this way and be throwing up too. It's a toss up. It really really hurt. Especially the freezing. He didn't even do the little 'swab' first (you know, the swab that partially freezes the skin??) He just went right at it with a huge needle. I had some not-so-friendly feelings for that dentist after the first needle. Then I had 6 more. They let me sit for a while for the freezing to set in, but all of a sudden the room began to spin. I got woosy, and my heart was thumping like mad. I called for the assistant to lower my chair before I passed out.
Then, to my embarassment, I began to cry. Tears were streaming down my face, rolling into my ears. It was almost involuntary. I guess the stress of the last month was all getting to me. I closed my eyes, put on my cd player, and tried to relax...listen to the worship pour over me. That really helped. I'm so glad I had that cd-player!
My jaw is very sore.....into my neck, and up into my head. I think he hit a nerve or something. I should get back into my bed....the freezing is wearing off.....
