Anneka-ism

Yesterday was Family Day. We spent the day hopping from store to store, stopping for lunch, and ending it with ice-cream at Dairy Queen.

When we walked in, we stopped for a moment to look at the ice-cream cakes in the freezer. We were shocked to see a cake that that had a "ball and chain" on it, that said "Congrats, You're FREE!".

Anneka noticed right away and said "A cake for getting out of jail? Sheesh! That's a dumb reason to get someone a cake. What's next: *Anneka gives sarcastic air quotes* "Hey, your friend just died...here's a cake!!!!"

We laughed for a while about that one...
