Another skin-care tip

Recently, I've discovered the wonder that is baking soda. Put a tablespoon or 2 in a dish, and add enough water to make a paste. Apply to your face, and use your fingers to rub the mixture into your skin. The more you move it around, the more it exfoliates. It also erases blackheads. I like to use a cheap electric toothbrush (cheaper ones are weaker) and gently use it to move the paste over blackhead areas. The movement of the electric toothbrush gives a quick result, and is way less work! Forget about buying all those devices you see on tv that basically do the same thing.

If you are gonna try this baking soda trick, make sure you place a hot cloth on your face first to open up your pores. Afterward, rinse it off with COLD water. This closes the pores, and prevents more gunk from getting into those now open and empty blackhead pores.

It leaves your face totally exfoliated and super soft. As with any exfoliation, it may leave your face a little pink (but fresh!) so don't do it before going out, but rather, before bed. Use a good moisturizer afterward, and you're good to go!!!

Let me know if you try it, and what you think!

My Mom uses baking soda like the father in My Big Fat Greek Wedding uses windex. She pours a whole box in her bath at night. And the paste is great for diaper rash too.
