Taking in the view of the Ottawa River. Across you see Quebec, and the gorgeous Gatineau Hills in the distance!

I started this blog 17 years ago, back when most people said "What's a Blog?" (and before Facebook!) Well, I'm still here maintaining this blog when I can, simply to continue archiving all the memories that I have invested here. :)
We moved to Ottawa in August of 2007, but I've spent the previous years of my life in a city called Winnipeg (Ever heard of it?) I've been a worship leader for over 33 years, and I often say that "I don't really like music...I just love worship"
If you like, you click on the CD in the right column of this blog, and hear clips of my album "Only One Love".
And work? I have a small graphic design company (www.pearcreative.ca) specializing in Book Cover Design and marketing materials. I love love LOVE my job!
I share my adventures with my incredible husband of 25 years (Jason) and our two gorgeous daughters aged 16 and 19.

I'm guessing Jason loves that picture because of how organized all the vegetables are - haha! I have to admit, I really do appreciate it myself - it looks quite beautiful!
Ottawa looks as gorgeous as ever, I see. Enjoy every minute of it...you never know what is coming around the corner.
I'm thinking the organization as well! It is nice! Though I tend to have spreadsheet tendencies like Jason!
That's my boy !!! Though I am not so sure he takes after me.
What does Jason do I wonder when God decides to color outside the lines ?
(I usually freak out so maybe the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree after all.)
Nancy (Mom),
That's the coolest thing about Jason. When it comes to God, he has learned that God is completely trustworthy. Jason can colour outside the lines when he hears God's Voice. (because he knows that when God is calling the shots, chaos under God's control is still under Divine order. Jason can trust THAT!
It's only when it comes to everyday personal tasks that Jason prefers order. I'm thankful he doesn't require ME to have such order. His preferences are only for himself, and not for everyone around him. (However he does really enjoy it when I'm ultra organized!)
Ottawa does look gorgeous!! Wow. That organized fruit/veggie picture was quite lovely. I probably liked it more for the colour than the organization - but either way it's a fantastic shot!
Your lost post with Aila saying her teachers name was hilarious!! She's SO cute!
My husband is the SAME way....totally organized and loves details (unless God colors outside the lines! LOL)...me? well, not so much! LOL The pictures of you and your Mom are great! How long is she there for! So glad you get to enjoy the time together!
Debi
I love the order, now if only someone would come and do it for me! :)
You guys look great.
Is Aila jumping on a trampoline with a sippy cup in her hand? That can't be safe!
I love that Yvonne...choas under God's control is still under Divine Order...that is so cool...You have made my night! Sometimes I forget that when God shakes things up a little He is still in control.
I on the other hand cannot allow myself to color outside the lines...so sad to admit.
Love you guys so much. Love the pic's and can't wait to try out the trampoline with the girls.
