Better Choices

My favorite thing in the world is icecream. I'm particularly fond of ROLO icecream! However, at 4.2 points per 1/2 cup....it's hardly a choice I'd make. (since NO ONE eats 1/2 cup of icecream...ever!)

Yesterday I bought another Nestle Product called "Nestle Real Dairy - Fudge Ripple" icecream. Now, it's not the lowest fat (point) icecream out there....BUT...it doesn't taste low fat...and it tastes JUST LIKE Rolo!! (minus the rolo pieces, but if you cut up 2 rolo pieces, you could drop them in yourself!) It has 2.5 points per 1/2 cup

hmmm I think I'll better skip the icecream, better some yoghurt or French white cheese (Quark), thats lower in colories, :)

But ehhh to be honest in Italy/Sicily I could NOT stand the Italian ice cream, so in 1 week I took 2 iceceams, at the other hand we walked/hiked a lot....that way I burned my ice-calories.

Italian Ice cream (Gelati/Gelato) has half the calories of normal Ice Cream! Usually only 50 calories for 1/2 a cup.

I guess we won't talk about the fact that it's Nestle ice cream...

Have you tried the low cal/low fat White Chocolate/Raspberry??????? I truly only do eat a 1/2 cut and it's sooooooooooooooooo yummy!!!!! I haven't seen that Rolo one and it's probably a good thing because it sounds too good!!! LOL

HI:)
????is that so? Thats quith interesting.. how come? Do Italians make their ice different? (low fatmilk?) Hmmm I should find that out rather fast, this way I can eat MORE italian ice:) Jippieeeeeeeeeee!!!!Yumyum....

BTW: I know that Italian make their breadrolls with water instead of butter, the French are doing the same, thats why Italian/French WHITE-bread is so light and low in caolries/points.

Did you know that?
Try it out, once when you are in Italy or France:)

Joann

It's because ice cream is made with cream....and Gelati is made with light milk.

Well...I'd love to try French or Italian bread...but I will most likely never see Italy in my lifetime!!! We're not all as lucky as you to live in Europe!!!
