There is a little 'forest' about a 10 minute walk from our house that is filled with walking paths alongside a little creek. It's really cute, and Renee discovered it during one of her runs. (Now it's on her route every time!) We walked there, and strolled along, as the girls jumped in the piles of leaves and collected leaves of various colors.
Jason took some pictures with his phone, but they didn't really turn out. But here are 2 anyway!

Yes I noticed on the weather station that Ottawa is above average. Nice pictures anyways even if they were done with the phone. Walking in the woods, we used to do that in the little mountain park remember?

Uh, of course it's safe. Why would we take the kids someplace that's not safe?
It's just a pseudo-forest behind a park with developed paths and such.
