Hi there. I'm Yvonne, and I'm a wife, Mom of 2 and business chick. Welcome!
This is a HUGE deal, because at age 4, she has never had a friend. She spent a whole year in nursery school last year, but could not name one kid in her class. She really couldn't care less about the other kids....she had a blast just on her own.
But now....there's Cole. I still haven't heard the names of any other kids in her class (tho there are 20 others) but I hear allll about Cole.
Cole is my MOST friend...My most friend in allll of my world!!
Also, everyday we have this conversation after school:
Okay, so she thinks I'm an idiot. *sigh* And I think she's getting French and France mixed up somehow....and apparently France is somewhere in Ottawa close to her school!!
Man...she's cute!
Aila: Mommy, can I play with Cole?
Yvonne: Cole's at his home, Aila.
Aila: Can I play with him at his home?
Yvonne: Well...I don't know where he lives!
Aila: MOMMY! He lives...in...a...House!! (with great frustration and drama, arms flung out wide)
Yvonne: Yes...I know, Aila..but I don't know WHERE his house is.
Aila: *rolling her eyes* why...IN FRANCE, of course!
