With winter on the way, you would THINK that flannel bedding would be everywhere! I mean, just how hard is it to find a simple comforter slip-cover? (like the one pictured here, that is "out of stock" on amazon)This is the second year that I have been looking for something for the girls:
A flannel duvet cover. Well, 2 actually. In light pink. They kick and kick at their sheets and comforters so much, that I thought it would be much simpler to just have a flannel cover on the comforter that a) would stay in place b) be cozy and c) I could simply slip off and wash.
So frustrating!!
Yes yes...I know there are REAL problems in the world. I shouldn't let flannel-woes be my undoing.

I remember my mom sewed together two flannel sheets and make me a cover with velcro to hold it together... SO COMFY!!!!! too bad I'm not that sewey type of person :)
I lkd at Ikea but didn't see anything
If you can sew a straight line, you can make your own using two flat sheets. (should be cheaper, and more selection in the sheet color/design)
or, even simpler, why not just add snaps or buttons onto their comforter and top sheet and attach them together - very easy to dis-assemble to wash.
oh -and if you are not handy, a mama once told me that any shop that fixes leather boots or belts will add snaps to things - i haven't checked into that tho.
Maybe you need to try somewhere other than Walmart! hahaha.. Just kidding!!!
Winners usually carries them - but of course its hit and miss...
Also Bedding stores have alot of choices and lots of sales!
I love duvets with covers. Making a bed is so much easier! Good luck! :)
