Capital Storm

Well, we're not escaping "Winnipeg-esque" weather...that's for sure!

Ottawa is being slammed with a storm that is about to set records. They are calling it a "Crippling Storm". I find that funny...because the word "crippling" has never been used in Winnipeg...and we've had some doozies! hehe.

This morning we went to church because the girls were angels in the Christmas Play. Even with the snow, we went because we are Winnipeggers! C'mon! It's only snow, right?! It took us 15 minutes to get there, but took 75 minutes to get home. (And we got stuck twice) This is definitely a huge storm.

Have you ever considered moving to Kansas City? We only have about 2" of snow here! LOL I am trying to figure out your photos, too -- are those shovels being used? Don't you have snowblowers in Canada? LOL Wow -- that's a LOT of snow!!!! Stay warm!

Wow - that's intense! Is it that wet heavy snow too? That's what we used to get in the Maritimes and it's a bugger to shovel! Unlike the Winnipeg snow you can sweep with a broom! :)

OOOW WOOOW!!
Give us some snow here in HOLLAND please? We have nothing yet (I'm just kidding here!) We just have had some 'baby-frost', nothing to compare with Ottawa...I am really impressed.. Are you all OK? No broken cars or something else?
