Full House
Yes...so Ron and Lynne are coming for a visit in May. A great surprise!
Right now, Jason's brother Jon is with us. Jon came from Toronto to go to a hockey game with Jason. So sweet! I'm watching the Oscars, and they are downstairs watching a movie. Jason has been looking forward to this...so it's really fun.
On Wednesday, OMA ARRIVES! I'm always so excited to see her. The kids too....they look soooo forward to a visit from Oma. She isn't even off the escalator at the airport and Aila is already shouting
"OMA!! Do you haf a pw-esent for meeee???"
I tell her everytime that it's rude to say that...that she should be patient, and enjoy hugging Oma, catching up...and if there's a gift...it will eventually come to her. That doesn't quite work for her. I stand at the escalator, holding Aila's hand....whispering "shhh...don't ask....shhh..." and I can feel her shaking...as if she's about to burst! Usually when she can't take it anymore...she'll explode "OMA!! OMA!!!" (she'll wait 20 seconds, and then whisper in Oma's ear "did you bwing me a car???"
Oma's visit usually consist of ALOT of tea drinking, a few trips to Walmart, Dollarama, and a whole lot of smiles from the girls.
This will be Oma's fourth visit here in 7 months. Its simply incredible that she is able to come so often...making this move SO much easier for all of us.

That's awesome that your mom gets to visit so often! I'm glad that it has made things easier for you! Have a good one!
Hey! I'm glad you're getting to see your family, that is definitely wonderful for you. Now speaking of visits, what are you doing this summer?? Do you want to bring the girls and come spend a few days at the cottage with me in Huntsville? I know it's a big of a hike, but you Canadians love to drive, don't you?? I'm pretty much going to be there for most of July and August. I usually look for company when Stephen has to go back to Bda for work, so if you're up for something like that, I can let you know dates when I get 'em. It would be so good to see you again.
:0) Hey maybe we can even convince Sandy to come too!!!
But of coase Oma has pw-esent for her! That's what Omas do!
