The Shack

A friend gave me this book to read. She said it was amazing...and I'm always up for a good book.

It's not often the you read a book that makes you cry. A book that you think about for days after your done reading. A book that you NEED to read again, just to absorb it all. This is one of those, folks. It's called "The Shack". It's about a man named Mack who has just had an unthinkable loss, and his journey back to the place where it occurred. (An old abandoned shack) What he encounters is not what he expected. He meets God in the shack.

Now...I'll say that I'm suuuurre there are some theological issues....as there are anytime you write a book where God is speaking. I mean...how can we completely know what His nature would be like? HOWEVER...this book is an amazing experience...ESPECIALLY if you have ever questioned God, had tragedy, loss, or dissapointment with God and/or religion.

It's like fresh air...

Click on the book to see it on Amazon. And if you read it...let me know.
