I started this blog 17 years ago, back when most people said "What's a Blog?" (and before Facebook!) Well, I'm still here maintaining this blog when I can, simply to continue archiving all the memories that I have invested here. :)
We moved to Ottawa in August of 2007, but I've spent the previous years of my life in a city called Winnipeg (Ever heard of it?) I've been a worship leader for over 33 years, and I often say that "I don't really like music...I just love worship"
If you like, you click on the CD in the right column of this blog, and hear clips of my album "Only One Love".
And work? I have a small graphic design company (www.pearcreative.ca) specializing in Book Cover Design and marketing materials. I love love LOVE my job!
I share my adventures with my incredible husband of 25 years (Jason) and our two gorgeous daughters aged 16 and 19.

Yikes! I guess no one thought your first winter there would be like this. It's too bad that they can't take big trucks to all the residential areas, take it away out of the city and pile it up real high and make magnificent tobaggan runs. We haven't even had enough snow to make an igloo yet. Although around our area the snow mobiles are going strong.
Hopefully it will all be gone before we get there. :P
that is very discouraging poor Yvonne it's not always like that winter in ottawa.
Wow! That is a lot of snow you have there. In the 5 years I spent in Ottawa in the 80s, we didn't have anything like that. I doubt you will ever see it again...
Summer is coming!
All I can say is this:
I am so glad I came last week to visit you, waiting in the airport for my flight to leave is not one of my favourite things.
Love MOM
So, are you ready to head south yet? LOL Wow -- that's a lot of snow! Today, in KC, it's a beautiful, sunny 50s! :)
Debi
Okay, Debi...I was going to say the same thing to Yvonne. Time to come South. Here today it was 70 in NC. That's about 21 for all ya'll "forners" (foreigners).
Looks too cold for me, but Great that white snow (when its clean)
Great photo, the 1th one, Love it:)
Wow!
Ya know - I am so sorry that you have to go through that!
Over here I am thankful I saw maybe - at the most - 3 inches of snow. It was usually gone in a day.
I do NOT miss canadian winters....
