Stuff

I was thinking that I don't really have much to say. I've had alot of work, but it looks like I get the afternoon off today, so I thought I'd update.

- first, I got a huge design opportunity that could be very exciting. The financial possibilities could be amazing. I've been offered (and accepted) the contract, and now I just have to see how much work it brings me. Kinda cool!

- Jason and I are heading to Kansas City March 13-19...to explore something that God has been speaking to us about. More on that when we return...

- This June, Jason and I are celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary! I know, I know...how could someone as young (immature?) as me be married that long? Well.... a) the grace of God and b) I got married as a toddler. Well, age 20...but close enough. So, we're taking a trip together to celebrate. We never had a real honeymoon (No, Mall of America didn't count as a honeymoon!!) so we've been saving for a while, and we're going on a trip in July. I'm too excited for words!!!

I guess that's about it. I'll leave you with a funny Jason-ism from yesterday:

"I'm not often right....so when I am....you're really gonna hear about it!"

I had to chuckle at the line, "I got married as a toddler"! Funny! I was 21, almost the same as you, and definitely don't regret it at all!

That's really sad that you think you didn't have a real honeymoon. I'm sure you really don't think that way. A honeymoon doesn't have to break the bank to be a honeymoon. the definition of a honeymoon is to go away with the one that you love even if it is to a hotel in the same city you live in.

It's not sad. At least not for me. I always dreamed of flying to a fun destination for a honeymoon. So no, I never considered 2 twenty-year-olds at a big mall being a dream honeymoon. It was what it was, and we were so young...it simply was all we could do.

So now, we get to have one! And we're thrilled!
