Unlike Manitoba, Ontraio schools don't have a music teacher on staff. So each teacher must muck through trying to teach a music section to the kids every year. Well, Anneka's teacher heard that I had taught music to kids for 12 years, and gave me a call.
So today, I'm teaching Anneka's class!
Anneka is very excited about the stuff I'll be teaching....but then...
Me: Oh...Anneka! What if I taught your class a song?!
Anneka: *stares at me*
Me: What?....What's wrong?
Anneka: *rolls her eyes* Oh Mommy...Pa-leeeease don't embarrass me!!
Me: Wha?
Anneka: No one else's Mom comes and sings in the class....Pa-leeease don't sing!!!
Sheesh.
I assured Anneka that when I left, her classmates would gush about how fun and 'cool' I was....
She highly doubts that.

I wish I was there to watch. Kids are so funny, and now it's your turn with Anneka. I am sure she will be very proud of you at the end of the day. You must post the results of this event . Too bad you couldn't have pictures as well.
It went well! I was pooped afterwards....and I remembered just why I stopped teaching!! haha
AT church we are going through "expanding our borders" , you might just be asked again to do this maybe even regularly. More pooped days may be coming.
I'm glad it went well!
My kids hate it when I play, but their friends all love it and ask me to play. A prophet in their own town or something like that.
