not without my daughter

Jason doesn't seem to appreciate the SIMS. Or rather, the time it takes to play the game. You see...there is no ending! You just pick up with life the following day, just where you left off!

In the SIMS world, I started fresh with a new Jason. First thing I did was buy a bookcase so that he could read up on cooking, and thus would not perish in another stove fire! When your SIMS fall in love, you get a pop-up that asks if you'd like a baby! I said "SURE!" It was a girl. The baby cries, and you have to care for it. You must feed it, sing to it...play with it. I made a nice nursery for the child, and put her to sleep.

I didn't realize that when I'd leave the room, I'd be unable to hear the crying. So I suppose my baby had been crying for a while, because soon there was a knock at the door. Social services came and took my baby!!!! I felt horrible!! What could I do to get my baby back? Nothing! So I played a game of pool with Jason, and soon enough the game offered us another child. This one was a boy. I was much more careful this time.

This week at church we are having a fast. I'll have to think of something to fast. *DUH*

In other news, my little Anneka goes to school tomorrow for the first time! IT's a shortened day (to help them adjust), but it's very exciting! She can't wait. I hope my little girl doesn't become corrupted. I guess exposure to the world yeilds corruption, doesn't it. I can't shelter her forever. I suppose that is why a praying Mother is such an essential thing for children.

And so, I shall pray. Pray my tookus off.
